Mark Marasciullo

Mark is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder at Real Asset Industries. Mark Marasciullo is a 30-year veteran of the real estate business. Over the course of his career Mark has consummated in excess of $13.5B worth of real estate transactions, across all of the four major food groups, as well as senior housing, master planned community developments, homebuilding and restaurant/hospitality ventures. Over the last 5 years, as Chief Investment Officer at a senior housing development concern, Mark worked on 22 senior housing transactions totaling over $600M in gross proceeds.

Mark also founded New Canaan Partners, a CRE focused investment platform started in 2007 with seed capital from Guggenheim Capital. Previously, he served as the Chief Investment Officer at United Group of Companies, Inc. where he oversaw the acquisition, capitalization and asset management of a portfolio of Choice-Based Senior, Multi-Family & Student Housing, as well as Commercial Office. In addition, Mark served as the Chief Financial Officer at Greenpointe Holdings in Jacksonville, FL, where he oversaw all financial functions of a portfolio encompassing 15,000 single family residential lots and numerous beach front condominium development sites.

In addition to his principal endeavors, Mark has garnered significant institutional experience as an intermediary. He’s been a worldwide coverage officer for a multitude of well reputed institutional CRE investors at JLL, a successful capital markets intermediary at EastdilSecured and began his career as an office leasing broker at Spaulding & Slye in Washington, DC.

Mark grew up on Long Island and graduated from Washington & Lee University. He currently lives in New Canaan, CT with his wife of 23 years (Anne) and has two daughters: Charlie (18 yo) and Daisy (16 yo).
